“Maldon Winter Wonderland” theme on display throughout various shop windows
Promenade Main and High Streets and discover Maldon’s hidden Winter Wonderland displays in participating shop windows. Lee Mead, Maldon’s 2017 Citizen of the Year will be judging the windows and awarding prizes.

MANet (Maldon Art Network) presents the “Maldon, Myths and Legends” during the Winter in Wonderland program. The project includes a mural hung on the Maldon Hotel wall depicting myths and legends gathered from stories told by residents, stories from Dja Dja Wurrung and those associated with Maldon. Painted in a landscape setting that employs tromp l’oeil techniques viewers can take interesting and intriguing ‘selfie’ photographs within a wonderland setting to upload onto social media sites, like instagram and facebook. Art installation continues along Dolphin Street to the Maldon Art Exhibition at the Maldon Community Centre in Francis Street.
