Since 1986 the Maldon Neighbourhood Centre has provided a place for members of our community to come together to socialise, play, create, and learn.
We are a not-for-profit community based organisation that encourages a sense of belonging and community engagement. The Maldon Neighbourhood Centre offers a child-friendly outdoor space, a meeting area and classroom, a Community Garden open to all and a drop-in area with free Wi-Fi and a welcoming atmosphere, as well as the fantastic and spacious old Church hall.
Come and join in one of the many courses, programs and community activities on offer.
We want the Maldon Neighbourhood Centre to be:
- Focused on community wellbeing
- A hub for community
- Enabling life-long learning and social connection
- Respect for all people
- Access and equity
- Equality, Participation and Inclusion
- Consultative and Collaborative decision making
- Embracing history and diversity
Our statement of intent is to provide a community directed meeting place which delivers effective and responsible social, recreational, health and educational support services that are informed by community development principles.
